So yeah, got on the scale this morning and managed to lose 2lbs over the weekend.  It’s gotta be the water pill they put me on for my blood pressure, which is high, for some inexplicable reason.  Lose almost 100 pounds and of course my blood pressure is out of control.  (rolls eyes)

Been working out at least 4x a week, doing a full hour of cardio.  Need to start incorporating weights again, but at this point I still can’t run because of this crazy high altitude.  7k+ feet does a job on your lungs, even after doing a solid hour of cardio 4-5 times a week, yo!  I can really see a difference around my mid section now – where it looked like it was really wanting to sag, it’s now starting to smooth out so that tummy tuck goal at 100 doesn’t seem so important anymore.  Thank god brown don’t crack!  A breast reduction – definitely would take that.

Just celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary with Mike.  Since I’ve been losing weight, he’s dropped about 25lbs himself.  He was an XL but now he’s down to a L.  Jeans he was 36/30 but now 34/30 and it’s a little baggy on him still.  Pretty cool to be watching our eating and having workouts in common.  Definitely is very encouraging plus he looks smexier now too =D  Been working out with my neighbor Mari and it’s kind of neat to look at her, she’s a size 4-6, and know that I’m only about 10-15lbs heavier than she is.  O_O  She had a size 8 tankini she made me try on and surprisingly it fit nicely.  My boobs were out of control in them, but she said that was the point.  Tried more tops at Old Navy this weekend – think I’m comfortable with an L-XL to accommodate them.  It’s just too out of control otherwise lol.

Other than that, feeling extremely good!  Working with my Internal Med doc on my diabetes, but it’s a process.  My blood pressure is starting to come down a little with the addition of the water pill, so I’m relieved.  The kids are healthy and life is good.
